Music is the universal language. Everyone loves to listen to music and people cannot live without it. Each country has its own traditional or folk music. We can hear music everywhere: in the streets, in the shops, on TV, over the radio, in the cars, in the parks, everywhere. Some people go to musicschools. They play different musical instruments, sing in the chorus and try to compose music.

Objectives: discussing about electric guitar. Educational: encourage teenagers to learn culture of music. Moral values: to cultivate aesthetic taste, awareness and respect to the world culture.

History of Acoustic and Electric guitars. Instruments similar to the acoustic guitar have been noted throughout history dating back to over 5000 years ago. These different instruments eventually lead to the evolution of the six string classical guitar which originated in Spain.Most acoustic guitars come in 6 string or 12 string variations. Acoustic guitars are popular with blues, jazz, rock, folk and country styles, though it has a smaller volume. How to do guitar louder? Since this issue began invention of electric guitars.

First electric guitar, called «Frying Pan», was invented in 1931 by GeorgeBeauchamp and Paul Barth.This works due pickups and requires the use of amplifiers. In fact, the use of pickups in a jazz band 1930-1940's led to a revolution in the music industry. By 1932 an electrically amplified guitar was commercially available.Early electric guitar manufacturers include: Rickenbacker in 1932, Dobro in 1933, National, AudioVox and Volu-tone in 1934, Vega, Epiphone, and Gibson in 1935 and many others by 1936.In 1946 Leo Fender designed a solid body electric guitar with one pickup. In 1950 Fender introduced a solid body, prototype guitar called the Esquire. The Esquire had a single pickup and was reintroduced in 1951 with two pickups, and renamed to Broadcaster. The Broadcaster was again renamed to its present name, Telecaster.Fender produced the Stratocaster in 1954 which became very popular to musicians like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, ¹

Electric guitar now.Today electric guitar is an integral part of almost all music bands. Some artists, as Richard Z. Kruspe (Rammstein), Paul Landers (Rammstein), Kirk Hammet (Metallica), Slash (Guns n Roses), Zakk Wylde and others have special personal signature guitar. Electric guitar most active used in the rock and metal bands. To achieve new sound used various sound effects.

Music is an important part of cultural and social life. Music is also part of children’s basic education.
